Gall bladder carcinoma with portal vein and biliary tree infiltration:
The above images show a mass developing at the neck of the gall bladder with infiltration of the portal vein and the intrahepatic biliary radicles (IHBR). The intrahepatic biliary tree appears dilated with the IHBR converging on the mass. In addition, there is also a gall bladder calculus. Findings suggest carcinoma of the gall bladder.

A case of gall bladder ascariasis:
Images courtesy of Dr. Vikas Arora, Ferozepur, India.
The above ultrasound images show show the distended gall bladder with a linear, echogenic lesion without an acoustic shadow. In this case, the worm did not show spontaneous movements. Thus it was concluded that it was a dead worm (ascaris lumbricoides). It appeared to shift position with change in the patient's posture.
